Q: What can be serviced?

A:   All Macintosh computers are serviced locally by Certified Macintosh Technicians.

iPhones may repaired in shop or sent to an Apple depot for repair depending on the parts needing to be replaced.

iPads and iPods are considered sealed units by Apple and are replaced with an equivilent refurbished model. Please allow up to 24 - 48 hours for your iPad or iPod replacement to arrive

Q: What do I need to bring?

A:   For desktop models, bring only the computer. You can leave your cables and peripherals at home. You should only bring a peripheral or cable is if it suspected as being part of the problem.

It is a good idea to bring your power adapter with Apple portable product, especially if the symptom is no power or a problem with charing the battery.
Please remove your Apple portable products from their protective cases before arrival to expedite triage.

Q: Should I backup my files before service?

A:   While we strive to prevent data loss and have never had an accidental loss, there is always the risk of losing important data when a computer is serviced. Be sure to backup data before bringing it in for service when possible. In some cases, a full erase of the hard drive may be required to complete the repair with the customers prior approval. You are responsible for your data, Quality Office holds no liability.

All iPads are replaced with an equivalent factory refurbished product. You should always perform a backup using iTunes or iCloud before bringing it in for service.

Q: How Long will it take?

A:   Most repairs are completed within 24 to 48 hours after the diagnostics. Please allow 2 to 3 days for the entire process. Many iPhone repairs can be completed same day, but if the unit needs to be sent to an Apple repair Depot, please allow up to 4 to 6 days for turn around.

Q: Do I need an Appointment?

A:   It is a good idea to call ahead and let us know when you plan to arrive, but walk-ins are welcome anytime! Our hours are 8am to 5pm Mon-Fri.
